April 2, 2024Civil engineering professor David Lattanzi teams up with colleagues in the College of Public Health to help build a new tool that will help clinicians identify bruises and injuries from domestic violence in a new way.
The team’s work supports evidence-based decision making, informed by the models, to rethink and facilitate hospital operations in utilizing limited critical resources as demand surges.
Research Interests: Multi-hazard civil infrastructure resilience quantification, disaster planning and response, sustainability, network algorithms, transportation systems optimization, intermodal and freight transport, supply chains, public transit and alternative modes.
