About the Fall Event
The Civil Engineering Institute (CEI) hosts an annual fall membership event to bring together students, CEIE faculty/adjuncts, government representatives, and industry to discuss a current theme in the civil engineering world. The event has been hosted in a panel discussion format with engaging discussion from the panelists and audience input.

About the Luncheon and Awards
The Civil Engineering Institute (CEI) Luncheon and Awards event is hosted annually and serves as the annual CEI business meeting and award ceremony. The CEI Engineering Excellence and Leadership awardee presents as the keynote speaker and is recognized for exceptional leadership, outstanding lifetime achievement, and significant contribution to the civil engineering industry. CEI student awards include recognition of outstanding academic achievement, leadership, and contributions to research. CEI also recognizes new Emeritus members and outstanding service awards to industry. The event features student research poster presentations, lunch, and an open venue for networking and collaboration amongst academia, government, and industry personnel.
