Biography
Cody Johnson is a principal engineer at Complete Structural Consulting, Inc. (CSC), where he specializes in the structural design of vertical structures with a focus on steel design. He is licensed as a Professional Engineer (PE) in Virginia, Washington, D.C., and Florida, and as a Structural Engineer (SE) in Hawaii and Illinois. Cody earned both his BS and MS in Civil Engineering from the University of Florida, with an emphasis in structural engineering. At CSC, he leads a team working on a diverse range of projects, including stadium renovations, educational facilities, and medical centers. His work focuses on contractor and fabricator services—particularly structural steel connection design—which provides him with a comprehensive understanding of the design and construction process from multiple perspectives. He brings this practical, real-world experience into the classroom to enrich his teaching.
